You can thank the hyper-creative atmosphere of California’s Laurel Canyon in the ‘60’s for bringing these two seemingly incompatible artists together. Before long, Crosby, Stills (former member of Buffalo Springfield) and Nash--intermittently joined by Stills’ Springfield bandmate Neil Young--would be superstars. Superstars, that is, who split up and reform too many times to count. And yet, during CSN(Y)’s frequent bouts of inactivity over the last three-plus decades, Crosby and Nash often kept right on working.
